What of the
Peter and Ruth Snow
Today is Peter's birthday. While he was with our son-in-law Mark and three of their children at lunch and then a movie, our mission call arrived in the mail. I waited until he came home so we could open it together. We had said that we were available by October 15, so we shouldn't have been surprised that it said we were to be at the MTC on October 27. After sending in our papers it was apparent that Peter needed cataract surgery in his right eye, so he is having that done on Tuesday. We are going to the Tirana Albania Mission, to be the welfare director of the country of Albania.
How are you doing? I just finished my hexagon-shaped Japan quilt. It has 19 individual hexagons of special memories we had with you while we were there. I was going to photograph and describe each hexagon, but I think I have more immediate things to be doing. Take care. Love, Ruth Lynne and Peter Snow
Thanks so much for your e-mail and your kind thoughts. When you asked about publishing this to the website, I felt bad that we still have not sent you anything to put in it about our mission and our great love for the Japanese and their country, especially for the members of the Church and probably most of all you great missionaries who were also serving there.
