Here are two reports about President and Sister Andrus which I received from Wayne Summers.

21 September 2010

We just talked with Pres. and Sister Andrus in Hawaii. They are both doing quite well. Francis continues to have arthritis in her knee's and suffers with that, but is in great spirits and able to get around very well with her church callings. Paul is of course still recuperating from his quadruple by-pass heart surgery. He
says, he feels fine, except that he is so weak. However he is able to get up and walk for his needs. A nurse comes in everyday to tend the wound on his ankle, but that has been going on for many months even before the heart surgery.

Both are in good spirits and joyous to talk with. He does not do
anything on the computer as like email etc. We are planning to see them in October when we go over to usher some friends thru the temple before it is dedicated again. One of our very best friends lives just across the street from them, so we have a monitoring agent for our concerns.

Greatly appreciate both of you for the things you do and the continued communication.

Just wanted all to know that Elder Kikuchi and I visited Pres. Andrus and his wife about six months ago, we gave them blessings. At that time Pres. Andrus had a wound that was not healing. Jay, his son is in my ward and I talk to him quite often. Miraculously his wound headed and what LaDon indicated is true.
