Greetings Wade, 1/16/09
I greatly enjoy your Japanese weekly e-mail. I truly believe you
are doing a monumental and enduring work.
I went yesterday to the open house at the Draper temple. I took
my daughter Ashley.
The organization of the whole affair was amazing and wonderful.
It went right from the parking at a nearby stake center on flat
land, to the short video orientation about temples and Draper
City, to the bus ride up to the temple, to the walking tour, to
the opulent refreshments and live violin little reception at the
end while people were waiting to board their bus back to the
parking lot to drive home.
All along were smiling polite ushers and helpers. It was an
inspiring totally successful presentation. I trust there will be
referrals galore and much good even to members resulting from
the whole experience for all participating.
I had read in the Church News that our friend Elder William R.
Walker is the head of the Church Temple Department. He and his
associates have done a great job with the Draper Temple open
Wade, as I write this to you I determined that I should say the
same things to Bill Walker directly .I will do so.
