I saw these hanging on the wall of the group home when we visited Sister Yanagida. I translated the message as, "If you worship, you will go next to the place you wish." If someone can give a better translation, I would like to see it.

Clearly the teaching is that worshipping here brings blessings there. That is a truthful teaching. How we choose to live here effects where we will be in the next life.

After I first sent this out, I received this reply from Professor Mitsu Saito at BYU, " 

I will give youfre the translation for the Buddhist Signs. This one reflect the spirit of the sign better.  

gAfter you worshipped here, move on to the next destination (or, to the next worshipping spot on this worshipping route).h
